I am someone that truly loves quality Bibles. I appreciate quality leather and bindings. This Bible is a bonded leather, which I knew beforehand. That being said, i understand i cant measure it up with the quality of a LCBP or a Cambridge. However, the quality is not really that bad. It is actually pretty "sound" and shows promise for lasting value. The text is the reason i made the purchase. I have a lot of Bibles and many are black letter Bibles. So not having red letters isn't a big deal for me. The study value is awesome though. I have enjoyed using this Bible as a tool. it really encourages you to go deeper into the text, the culture, and the original meaning. i love this Bible for what it is and would gladly put out a lot more money for a premium version. Just food for thought to the publishers!!!

Certainly worth every dime i paid and would highly recommend if you want to go deeper into the Word of God.

    One Love...

It all boils down to what a person is looking for in a Bible. I have the 1997 version ( 2885N ) of this wonderful Bible, which incidentally DOES have the red letter for Christ's words. Comparing the two...I really much prefer the 1997 version. I like the layout and what was included in the 1997 version. Was a much better Bible.. May be hard to find that edition for those of you who want it now. Both are same thickness and excellent quality. I bought this newer edition JUST to get the CD rom....which that older version didn't come with. I am very happy to get this Bible with the nice CD rom...there ar a lot of good things on that CD rom!

I didn't keep this Bible long enough to do a thorough review. The print is a little small but I had no trouble reading it. I am partial to the words of Christ in red which it doesn't have. My decision to return it was based on what seemed to me a neutral position the study notes took on some of what I consider to be important issues. I did exchange it for a different Study Bible.

I love the content and the set-up of the book, however The print is too tiny for me. While I am in bible study class, I continually struggle to read the text and remain engaged with the class. The text is tooooo small for me, even with my glasses on.
