  1. 5 Stars Out Of 5
    I really enjoy listening

I listen to the WOP while reading the corresponding chapter in my Bible. It helps me to understand a little better and focus more. The actors who are speaking have done a fabulous job. There is music and some sound in the background which is soothing. If a part is of a battle there is swords clashing in the background.

They have not added nor deleted any part but have just read what is exactly in the Bible.

I bought the MP3 version so I could 'attach' it to my iTunes account. That way I can listen on my iPad in the living room.

It come in a compact case that zips up. I really like that feature, rather than having a lot of discs in a box or in separate cases.

I own both the MP3 and the CD version, and the MP3 is so much easier to work with. I called Thomas Nelson, and they allow you to download it to all your personal devices. I have a desktop, a laptop and I will be getting a MP3 player to keep with me in my vehicles. If you have the CD's, you can't skip around from the New Testament to the Old Testament. You also have to change them frequently, as part of a book will be on one cd and the rest on another. With the MP3's, a couple clicks of your mouse and your there. Another advantage of the MP3's is that you can highlight all the chapters in a book, right click on properties and click details, and you can see how long a book will take you to get through.

I have three children two of them have special needs. They all love listening to it. My middle son said he can see the stories come to life in his head. They will sometimes ask to stay in the car to finish out the story. And I love it. It seems to makes the scriptures more personable and real, not something just read out loud.

We enjoyed watching the DVD about how this audioBible was made. I put it on three iPods so all my children can listen to it as they go to sleep. Really great quality!! Thank you.

Much good can and has been said of the content. That would be 5 stars.

However, I rarely listen to this MP3 Bible anymore and have reverted to one of my prior audio renditions because of the format. The MP3 format of this product is good but it does not allow you to go to another MP3 playlist (such as music) and then return to the same position. I would buy this again if it were offered in M4B or other audio book format that, at least on Apple devices, allows you to resume where you last left off. This is very useful because few people would listen to the entire 66 books without listening to something else on their MP3 player and then want to resume in the same place they left off when they come back to the 66 books.
