I bought this Bible for three reasons:

    1. My daughter's school requires NKJV.

    2. They requested we use the Explorer's Study Bible.

    3. It's the girl version.

Personally I don't care for the cover of this Bible, but given I was going to put a cover on it anyway I decided to buy it. I wrongly assumed the pages would be purple and was very disappointed to learn the difference between the blue and purple Bibles is simply the cover. The pages are blue just like in the "boys" Bible. I thought this was the same Bible I had seen in a store last year that had purple pages in the purple Bible.

If I were to purchase it again I would save a dollar and buy the neutral (boys) hard cover Bible and put a case on it.

As for the Bible's construction the pages are sturdy and the cover seems good. Hopefully with it being covered it will stand up to four more year of use by my seven year old.

I bought this Bible for my niece and she likes it. I think the print needs to be a little bit larger, and I don't understand why the publisher didn't put the words of Christ in red. It has good line-spacing which is what I was looking for and is a huge plus.

Very cute bible for girls. We wanted real NKJV text so the kids could follow along during Bible study. The study notes are helpful but simple enough for young readers. My daughter is only 7 so she doesn't read it on her own yet, but she is able to follow when mom or dad read.

This is an excellent Bible for a young person starting to study the Bible on their own. I bought this for our granddaughter, and when I saw how nice it was, I bought another for our other granddaughter. Many helpful explanations and comparisons to everyday living. I am very pleased and so are they!!
