My first impression of this Bible is favourable. I like the Guided Tour which gives a little more in depth look at the culture of the day and more explanation of the occurences in the chapters.
I will enjoy getting more familiar with it as time goes by.

I bought my daughter the teen study bible to use at young life and she loves it. So I figured this would be the next step up for me. I have never studied the bible and this has really helped. I am starting with track 1 and plan to move on to track 2 then maybe track 3.

I gave this Bible to someone as a gift and they are very pleased with it - it is easy to read and the highlights and insights by Phillip Yancey and Tim Stafford are of great assistance when studying the scriptures.

I first discovered the NIV Student Bible in my church. The study notes are really good. They help me understand the Bible passages so much better. I own many study Bibles but none of them compare to the learning and understanding I have received from this Bible!

The NIV Student Bible in all its versions is truly a "God-send" for ALL students of the Bible. Individuals who assume this Bible is simplified for youth are gravely mistaken, it is for all who are interested in the many aspects of history in which Biblical events took place.

The introductions to the books of the Bible are nice. The information pages at the end of the Bible are nicely done - and all for a very reasonable proce!
