Pages are very thin and font is much smaller than expected

The study topics are excellent, especially for Teens and young adults. I prefer a "Study Bible" that permits me to take notes, highlight, underline etc. This "Study Bible" has very thin pages and very small font. Not really what I expected for a "Study Bible", but content is good.
I'm reading my Bible more than ever now. This version is easier to understand and I like how it defines words and gives the pronunciation of words. Hardcover edition is kind of thick, but I'll buy a Bible cover.
I am a junior in high school who was looking for a more serious Bible to study with. I was skeptical to buy the Quest version because I was unsure of its' answers to questions and the additional review in the margins, but I love it!! I have had it for about 2 weeks now and I have been more drawn to read the Bible on my own accord in the past two weeks with this Bible than I have in my entire life. The margin answers are actually to questions I find myself asking while I read and even point out a few things I didn't notice. There are also nice paragraphs after certain lessons explaining in more detail what that part of the Bible says about ____" The pages are not too thin and not too thick and I LOVE how it lays flat! The leather is a nice touch and has a substantial feel. I really suggest this Bible for ANYONE who has trouble committing to reading the Bible or does not commonly feel compelled to read the Bible on their own accord.
We gave this to our 14 year old granddaughter for Christmas and I think it is the most used gift she received! She absolutely loves it; uses it daily; says it is a great study-help with her Christian school studies. Her mom says she (granddaughter) carries it and uses it constantly!!!! Granddaughter's reply is: " I love it !"
