Product Description

Max McLean’s passionate reading of the NIV, enhanced by subtle background music, transforms the words of Scripture into living history. Commuters, joggers, and anybody who loves God’s Word will be transported to the ancient world of the Bible where patriarchs and kings rule, prophets and teachers counsel, and the Messiah dies and rises again.
  • 1 Audio MP3 disc in DVD case containing the entire Bible (data not video DVD)
  • Over 75 hours of playing time.
Max McLean, narrator for the NIV Listener's Bible, is an actor, storyteller, and student of the Bible whose life’s work is to help make your time listening to the Bible joyful and revealing. He has dramatically presented God’s Word in countless churches and one-man dramatic productions of the Bible in theaters worldwide. His radio ministry is heard daily on over 670 radio affiliates.

He is President of Fellowship for the Performing Arts and is best known for his theatrical presentations of The Screwtape Letters, Mark's Gospel, and Genesis. Each of these has received critical acclaim in a wide array of publications including The Chicago Tribune, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.

Max McLean was born in Panama City, Panama, and came to America via New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty at the age of four. The first thing he had to do was master the English language. Due to his father's military career, 'home' included many places across the continental United States, the Far East, and Europe.

Max is married to Sharon and they have two daughters, Rachel and Julia. Max & Sharon are active members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church (PCA) in New York City. "
