Were using this little book 'The gospel of John' to put in our Halloween bag. We also put candy in the bag so the kids won't get mad and throw the book away. Maybe they read it later.
We print up a little gum label with out church location and time we meet Sunday, and put it on the back cover.

This is an excellent book to share with a new believer. It is also great for those of us who have a few years under our belts in that it gives some great references for a variety of topics covered in the book of John. It's easy to follow the format they use.

This NIV Gospel of John is designed for evangelism as it has a “Theme of Salvation” at its beginning and the verses referred to on that page are underlined in the text. The NIV text is understandable and very readable despite its shirt pocket size. I would like this better if they had added The Letter to the Romans to the Gospel of John, but the Gospel of John is adequate alone. I combine each of these affordable Gospels of John with a small edition of the United States Constitution and a Four Spiritual Laws tract. The three together are small enough that I can carry a couple of these combos together in a pocket and give them away to whoever isn’t too suspicious of receiving anything for free. Interest in either (or both) have led to many conversations about Gospel of Salvation.
