I bought this for my brother for Christmas... and he loves it. He says its smaller than he had expected but he likes the size. It works well and he is looking forward to being able to carry it with him for visitations.

This is so convenient! My bible is falling apart, so I decided to get the Franklin E-Bible to carry. My arms are not able to hold much weight, so this works out perfect. I also carry it in my purse so I always have a reference at hand when someone needs to know something from the Bible.

I have owned two other Franklin NIV Bibles in the last 20 years. Both were gifts. I carried them in my purse and used them almost every day. They were so easy to use. I bought and gave several away and because I really did not need two I gave away the extra one I had and actually kept the oldest of the two though it was a little big. A leaking water bottle destroyed that one just a few months ago. The new one lacks simplicity and therefore speed of use. There is no need for an electronic Bible to be designed to be a calculator, clock and place to store addresses etc. Other devices work much better for those things. In fact there are other devices that work for portable electronic Bible but most require WiFi. Ideal product would have been what Franklin had in the past - just a simple easy to use Bible where any passage, word or topical subject could be looked up in seconds without a tutorial of any kind. Also the shell on this Franklin looks as if it will be easy to scratch and did not come with a protective soft cover of any kind. Unless Franklin makes changes I will not purchase another one for myself or anyone else. Nor will I continue to recommend them.

This is my third electronic Bible. Accidents happened to the first two (my fault) and I hurried to replace the second one beccause it is invaluable in preparing for my Bible studies. Your price is a bargain, too.
