I like this NIV Bible for it is in good size and the font is big enough for kids to read, there are several pages of colored picture and maps, the Bible dictionary in the back of the Bible is helpful, too. The price is fair and reasonable.

My 2nd grade Sunday school students were very exciting to receive this Bible and a canvas Bible cover as a gift, they are inspired to read it everyday now!

I was given this Bible as a small child, about 20 years ago, and I loved it--I used it until it wore out pretty badly (the front cover finally fell off after several years), and I still keep it on the shelf for the fond memories I have of it. The pictures really caught my imagination, and it was easy for me to read and understand. The combination of the great pictures and the easy-to-read formatting really encouraged me to actually read it. I'm glad to see that it is still available, because it really is the best children's Bible I've seen (but of course I'm partial). So, here's from someone whose Bible-reading teeth were cut on this particular edition--you won't regret choosing it.
