I first fell in love with NewSong when I heard "The Christmas Shoes". My Mother died December 28th and this song was a very personal puller of my own heartstrings because of the contents of the song and it's correlation to the passing of my own Mother at that special time of year. I love the other songs on this CD too but, I have to admit that the first time I heard, "When God Made You" I thought of my son and his wife. Their relationship to each other is so loving that I imagine them singing this song to each other, even though they don't believe in God. I just feel that they would say or think, "When my Higher Power Made You" instead. This song is definitely one that I would want to be sung at my wedding, should I ever walk down that aisle again. This is an unbelieveable steal at the price of $9.99 and I don't believe you will ever be sorry you bought it!

It was a pleasant surprise to find this particular CD. Some of these songs I have not heard in a long time and it made my heart feel renewed hearing them. I particuarlly remember the song Red Letter Day, was one of my favorites that played on the secular radio stations (it meant much to me then to hear it)before I became a Christian and started only to listen Christian radio stations. Great CD
