To me, The New Jerusalem is THE absolutely superior translation for use especially by Episcopalians, Anglicans, Roman Catholics. Book intros and notes are great. But Random House/Doubleday treats this as an ordinary trade book but not as a Bible for study and liturgical use. What is required, IMHO is a center column reference edition with a thumb index, multiple marker ribbons, and other study Bible features.
