Some of the subject matter answers are debatable, especially if you belive in a very literal interpretation. It is well written and the authors expositions are clearly explained. Overall a good read and edifying.
Archer was a solid, conservative, Evangelical scholar. This work evidences his strong faith in the Bible as the word of God. It is similar in scope to "The Hard Sayings of the Bible" and is in its own way, nearly as good. The New International Encyclopedia of Biblical Difficulties has more of an Apologetics feel to it, whereas the Hard Sayings volume is more exegetical. Both approaches have their place. Archer's work is certainly worth purchasing and reading.
