Author Bio

Gleason Archer Jr. received a PhD in Classics from Harvard University, an LL.B from Suffolk Law School and a Bachelor of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. Early in his career, Archer served as assistant pastor at Park Street Church in Boston. In 1948 he became Professor of Biblical Languages at Fuller Theological Seminary in California and in 1965 Professor of the Old Testament and Semitics at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Illinois, where he later became an emeritus faculty member in 1989. He spent the remainder of his life researching, lecturing and writing. SPANISH BIO: Gleason Archer Jr. obtuvo un doctorado en la Universidad de Harvard, una Licenciatura en Derecho de la Escuela de Leyes de Suffolk y una Licenciatura en Divinidades de la Academia Teologica de Princeton. Comenzo su carrera como pastor asistente en la iglesia de Park Street en Boston. En 1948 inicio su carrera como profesor de Lenguajes Biblicos en la Academia Teologica Fuller en California y en 1965 paso a ser profesor del Antiguo Testamento y Semitica en la Escuela Evangelica Trinity en Illinois donde se convirtio en miembro emerito del cuerpo docente de la misma.
