I was very impressed with the commentary, it is packed with information, and the sections on the scriptures i've read have been very insightful. The only drawback is when I received the commentary, the paper that sticks to the block, hidden by the hardcover, became lose. I was sent another one, and when I saw it starting to unstick I layed the book on it's back in the bookshelf. It stays put when I open it, for now. I'll jut keep it on it's back see what happens. Maybe it's because of the summer heat of a Southern CA border town. God Bless.

I lead Bible Study in our church weekly. I was looking for something to really help me read, interpret, and understand the Bible better, and this commentary delivers all of that. It has a section in the front on approaching the Bible, how to interpret the Bible, and Biblical History, which are all helpful and full of information. Each book of the Bible has an introduction with lots of great info, and the verses are broken down to give me greater understanding. There are also maps, charts, and diagrams throughout the book which are helpful. I also use "What the Bible is all about" Bible Handbook by Henrietta Mears. Using these 2 books has really helped our Bible Study group to dig a lot deeper with more insight and knowledge. I highly recommend this commentary whether you are leading a Bible Study or just want to get more out of your reading of the Bible on your own.
