SeriousSandusky, OHAge: 45-54Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5New Bible CommentaryDecember 7, 2014SeriousSandusky, OHAge: 45-54Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I lead Bible Study in our church weekly. I was looking for something to really help me read, interpret, and understand the Bible better, and this commentary delivers all of that. It has a section in the front on approaching the Bible, how to interpret the Bible, and Biblical History, which are all helpful and full of information. Each book of the Bible has an introduction with lots of great info, and the verses are broken down to give me greater understanding. There are also maps, charts, and diagrams throughout the book which are helpful. I also use "What the Bible is all about" Bible Handbook by Henrietta Mears. Using these 2 books has really helped our Bible Study group to dig a lot deeper with more insight and knowledge. I highly recommend this commentary whether you are leading a Bible Study or just want to get more out of your reading of the Bible on your own.

sharon briggs5 Stars Out Of 5June 6, 2010sharon briggsI found this comentary in our church library and checked it out. It had been ordered by one of our pastors, who had recently graduated Bible college. I have found it so enlighting, that I was getting tired of checking it out and decided to order my own copy. I have used it for BSF and the Kay Arthur study, and for preparing my lesson for 1st grade Sunday School. I even enjoy reading it , for enjoyment. It is a wealth of enfromation that opens up the whole meaning of each book of the bible. I also enjoy the history inserted.
