An excellent Bible study companion resource.
My wife and I give these to our Sunday School and Childrens' Church students. We emphasize that the Bible is God's Word to us and since it is one of the ways He reveals Himself to us and His wisdom and will for us, it is very important to understand it, to "study to show ourselves approved unto God," handling the Word of Truth correctly. We encourage them not to skip over words or phrases that are unfamiliar, but to look them up and understand them. It could be a word that changes the meaning of the whole sentence. It could be a word that changes your whole life.

Probably good for a beginner.
I was expecting a more indepth dictionary but its okay for a beginner.

Incredible price
I bought this dictionary for an incredible price. It covers a broad range of information and the photos and illustrations are good color quality. The only drawback is the edges of the book were "bent." That's only a problem because I bought it as a gift for someone else. But for the price, I may keep this copy and order another one for my friend. Hopefully the edges on a 2nd book won't be messed up. This dictionary is interesting to read, even though I've studied the Bible for many years.

When I saw the words Student Bible, I was a little reluctant to purchase because I did not think of myself necessarily as a student at the age of 43; however, I am happy and thankful that I did. The definitions are very clear and concise. I recommend this purchase.
