I like the NCV and the outside cover of this volume is very nice. It is for young eyes though as the print is very small and light making it difficult to read; requires alot of light. I would recommend to others along with warning of the small print.

This is a nice little Bible reader that moves through the NT in one year of six readings per week (one each weekday and one per weekend). Each two page spread has the NT reading, a short OT reading, and some devotional thoughts.
Very nice binding. Small size yet the print is big enough to read comfortably and the pages seem to be good quality - not too thin.

I purchased this book for myself some years back. Then the Lord presented me with a young lady who needed mentoring and we have been using this book to study God's Word together (I bought her one also). I have since purchased a couple more to share with others. Good as a devotional as well as just for reading the Bible in simpler language.

This book is great for personal daily devotions and a wonderful resource for a weekly group discussion. This will be the third time/year I've used this and the group discussion is never the same as the last one. Questions at the end of each day's reading provide topics for discussion. A great integration of the NT and relevant passages from the OT plus insights from contemporary to centuries-ago Christians.
