This bible is awesome. I have a sister that has just come to the Lord so I purchased 3 of them. Now all three of us sisters have the same version & we can study/minister together although we all live in different states. It is a Great bible to understand & follow along for a new Christian.

I absolutely love this Bible. The language is clear and concise. Plus, and this is big, the devotionals and comments help me to understand the circumstances under which the scripture was written and how is relates to me and our times.

I would recommend this Bible to anyone who wants to get into the heart of Christ's message. I have looked for a Bible like this for a long time. The translation is easy to read and the notes and Bible studies included in its pages are beautiful. Max Lucado did an awesome job of making the scriptures come alive and showing us how to apply them in our everyday lives.
I look forward to using it every morning.

I love and enjoy using this Bible for my personal studies and also for teaching purposes because, the English is very simplified. With the life lessons and notes attached, makes preparing messages also simple and easy. I thank God for the wisdom and the grace He has endowed upon His servant Brother Max Lucado to come out with this wonderful piece of work. God bless you Brother Max for your obedience to the Lord.

This is the most excellent Bible I have ever read! It is easy to read, modern but still captures the essense of the times. I am compelled to read it everynight.

I purchased this Bible because I enjoy Max's writing and I did not have an NCV translation Bible. I have really enjoyed the comments and life lessons found in the Bible. For a devotional Bible this is by far the best, and I have several devotional Bibles to give reviews on. I am glad that Max chose to have this put together. Very nice product.

I, personally, love Max Lucado's style of writing and in this particular version of the Bible, he allows the reader to think about what God is saying in everyday terminology. The only drawback might be that some interpretation may be lessened in doing so. (I have not read this through from Genesis to Revelation as of yet).
The study content in this Bible is excellent and his side notes and devotionals are wonderful.
