The New Beacon Bible Commentary on Philippians is succinct, well researched, and very helpful for pastors or bible study teachers. I am currently preparing a series of sermons on Philippians and have found this commentary extremely helpful. If you want an indepth commentary you will need to go to O'Brien or Fee, but this is the most well rounded commentary for the pastor or teacher. I found it much better at application than even the NIVAC by Thielman.
