Sadly, the most reliable sourcebook is rarely used, but the Bible has proven repeatedly that it is the real secret to "the nations" and their births and deaths. From the discovery of city states like Nineveh, to future plans for Egypt, those who dig through the past are routinely shocked by the accuracy of the Bible's geography and history.
Now, prolific scholar Henry M. Morris has written a handy guide for those interested in the past--and future--of civilizations the world over. Morris is an unabashed admirer of the veracity of the Bible, and uses its predictive prophecy to inform readers about God's plan for the nations of the world. If we are, as the Bible states, the highest form of special creation, then our Creator knows what is best for us. That message doesn't have to be hidden from anyone, and this book shines a light through the passageways of time, to show all people the origins and purpose for the world.

Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance...Isaiah 40:15
- A fascinating title from creationist icon Henry Morris
- Perfect for Christians who focus on apologetics
- Focuses on a rare, but important topic: God's plan for individual countries
In the Bible, we see the interest God has in humans and their cultures. In the Old and New Testaments, the Hebrew and Greek words for "nations" occurs 720 times. Many of the nations that were given land and resources during Bible times have now passed into history, such as the Assyrians, Babylonians, and Hittites. We also know from secular history that civilizations like the Aztecs and Greeks are also largely removed from the scene. All this is due to those nations rejection of Gods laws. Indeed, of the 200 nations in existence today, only a handful actively seek God.
A prolific and influential scholar known to believers and skeptics alike as "the father of modern creation science," Dr. Henry M. Morris truly was a man of science and a staunch man of God. He was even said to have set the terms of debate about evolution for the second half of the 20th century by one Pulitzer Prize-winning academician. Dr. Morris began his serious study of the Bible in the 1930s and authoring books in the 1940s, but it was his landmark work, co-authored with Dr. John Whitcomb, titled The Genesis Flood in 1961 that influenced generations to begin discovering the fallacies of evolution and the biblical truth of creation.
With over 60 books, founding and leading the Institute for Creation Research (ICR), Dr. Morris death in 2006 was a profound loss to millions.
Dr. Morris created a thriving legacy that continues to equip many Christians to be able to defend the accuracy and authority of Scripture today. The new Henry Morris Study Bible and other resources that he developed remain essential sources of knowledge and understanding for believers.
mizraim1 Stars Out Of 5VERY disappointed !!January 29, 2012mizraimQuality: 1Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1Too much of Mr. Morris's exegesis is based upon fairy tales & highly subjective whimsies. This is VERY BAD, in that many who are ignorant, & trust Mr. Morris as some sort of messiah figure --- will be led astray. There is a thrice repeated warning against ADDING TO the Scriptures.
Creationists accuse "the opposition" of such sorry claims, but I am encountering far too much of this sort of thing in Creationist writings. I find myself losing interest in reading Creationist material.
M J Spaulding5 Stars Out Of 5December 8, 2007M J SpauldingThis is the best book explaining the mandates of God, the coming and going of the nations and why. It explains how we got to where we are today and that God could take down the United States also if we are not doing what he mandates. I have learned so much from Henry Morris' books.
