I have been reading and studying the MacArthur Study Bible for a few years now and I am not unhappy with it except that I wish he could have went indepth a bit more on certain passages. I guess that's just the I want to know everything person that I am. But over all I am VERY pleased.
I have this in the NKJV as well. I love the MacArthur Study Bibles. The text is 9 point, which is perfect for me. I don't have to squint to read it. The amount of work he has put into these Bibles is amazing. They have concordances in back too. Everything anyone cold want in a Study Bible. The only thing I wish it had ( they had) is the red letter--words of Christ in red. That would have been a great bonus. I purchased both of mine in the hardcover, cause I think they last longer and are more sturdy. They also are better when I sit in bed or a soft chair...makes it easier to read comfortably. You will need a large cover for it cause it is bigger than the leather Bibles, and maybe a little thicker too. The Zondervan large covers with the pictures on them are too large. That's what I am using now, but it's too big for the Bible. Med. would be too small. So personally I recommend going with a different cover made by another company in a large size. Very wonderful Study Bible. Deserves all the praises it is getting!
