I have this in the NKJV as well. I love the MacArthur Study Bibles. The text is 9 point, which is perfect for me. I don't have to squint to read it. The amount of work he has put into these Bibles is amazing. They have concordances in back too. Everything anyone cold want in a Study Bible. The only thing I wish it had ( they had) is the red letter--words of Christ in red. That would have been a great bonus. I purchased both of mine in the hardcover, cause I think they last longer and are more sturdy. They also are better when I sit in bed or a soft chair...makes it easier to read comfortably. You will need a large cover for it cause it is bigger than the leather Bibles, and maybe a little thicker too. The Zondervan large covers with the pictures on them are too large. That's what I am using now, but it's too big for the Bible. Med. would be too small. So personally I recommend going with a different cover made by another company in a large size. Very wonderful Study Bible. Deserves all the praises it is getting!
I have many bibles and the nasb can't be beat for accuracy and is easy to read. John MacArthur's notes are by far my favorite because he tackles all the difficult verses head on, where most others take a neutral stance or avoid it all together. I don't need study notes for the easier verses. The leathersoft cover looks and feels good and is holding up great. I take this bible everywhere and sometimes in a backpack or thrown in my motorcycle tail bag and it's still in great condition. It compares very favorably to much more pricey ones
I purchased this as a wedding gift. I have the ESV MacArthur SB and like the NASB version as well. I consider MacArthur the finest and most blessed author today in God's Word. The print is large and easy to read as well as the notes. I treasure the notes in my study.
