I really appreciate this study Bible and the scholarship and research that makes it what it is. I enjoy Dr. MacArthur's attention to taking the words literally, and his insight into several difficult passages. I heartily recommend this commentary to anyone who would like brief commentaries on historical and theological issues that are reasonable and well thought-out.

These Bibles were purchased as Graduation gifts. This Bible was chosen because of how helpful the study notes are that Dr. MacArthur writes. The Bible is laid out well and has a lot of very helpful additons that explain background and various other things that help make the scritpures come alive.

I have countless Bibles in my study ,but I dare say not one of them can come close to the MacArthur Study Bible ,,This Man is Blessed by His dedication and Faithfulness to God ,and His Word ....if You do one thing to help You grow as a Christian ,get this Bible ,,Allen R.

I really appreciate all the study notes, but the leather seems to be cheap. Hopefully it will last any way. The paper is ok.

Not only is the NASB an easy to read and understand translation, but Dr. MacArthur's well researched notes and cross references offer insights that really help with personal study. This bible is great for a new christian as well as a seasoned believer.

Excellent Bible. I was disappointed with the packaging. The edge of the leather cover had been crimped and it probably can't be straightened out correctly. I'm not the type to package it up and pay to ship it back plus we want it for Christmas. I have had no other problems with packaging of other items.
