Product Description

The Bible and comedy - usually these two either are kept at arms length from each other or are part of an attack on the Scriptures. But now, with the Manga Bible, both come together in a fun, entertaining and respectful (although comical) way. Covering major events in the first two books of the Bible, learn and laugh your way through the familiar stories of the creation, Noah's ark, Abraham, Joseph and Moses, among others. The story and art are by professional Korean veterans of manga (or, more appropriately, manwha, which is manga produced in Korea), with English translations throughout to recapture the humor as originally intended. Recommended for ages 9 to 11.

Publisher's Description

All of God's Creatures Are Talking in Bubbles! See the creation of the earth and the parting of the sea like you've never seen them before. With cool artwork and loads of humor, Names, Games, and the Long Road Trip gives the first two books of the Bible a totally different look. It's manga style, where pictures tell the story---and the action moves fast. Everyone---including Adam, Eve, Noah, and Moses---talks and thinks in word bubbles. Who knew discovering the important truths in Genesis and Exodus could be so exciting and fun?

I don't think it's fair that the real author dosen't get credit for his own work. Bud Rogers is just the Translator; the real author is Jung Shun Hwang.

I bought this for my 14 year old son and he blew right through it in a day. He was greatly entertained while absorbing Bible truths and seeing how all the stories he grew up with fall chronologically. He's 14 and he loved it. I'd count this a s a win!
