The book is visually attractive, colorful, illustrations and photographs in every page. A lot of information to cover, easy to understand, practical use of DVDs, workbook with answer key. Questions on the textbook to answer using critical thinking or based on the content of the unit or lesson. The bundle can be used to work with reading and writing skills. Some exercises gives you the opportunity to write or prepare a speech about the topic. There are some links to history if you want to work with History, English and Writing at the same time using this book. Information is updated, not only about maps and location of places, but physical, climates, economics, population, cultures, government. Great for middle school or advanced elementary student. It has good explanations of the terms.

This curriculum is supposed to be fun to interact online with the student but it has been a challenge to do so. We are using the book only as a reading source since we have no idea how to get teacher resources for it. The workbook is a good tool that follows the textbook to a certain degree with answers. Very frustrated with the publisher on this one.
