Product DescriptionThe changing ethnic face of America will increasingly require evangelicals to minister to people of a variety of ethnic backgrounds, including African-American, Hispanics, Asians, and others. In this book, author and pastor David Anderson provides practical ideas to show how both new and existing churches can embrace greater cultural diversity and discover their unique rhythm. Anderson shares many stories from his experiences in planting Bridgeway Community Church, a successful multicultural church that has grown to about 1,500 people, half of whom are African-American, 30 percent are Caucasian, and about 15 percent are from racial and ethnic groups. This book provides transferable principles and practical ideas adaptable for churches of any size and setting.
