Grace and Glory became like a friend and as much as a I wanted to find out how the Shepherd touched the lives of those in the Valley of Humiliation, I didn't want the book to end. Hannah Hurnard is a gifted writer with an intimate understanding of God's love for His creation and how He patiently develops character in those who willingly follow Him.

Although this is an allegory, the struggles are just like those we suffer every day. This is a good book to use during your devotional time especially if you are going through a "dry" season.
