Award-winning author Kathi Macias has written more than 17 books, including

the best-selling devotional A Moment a Day, and the popular “Matthews”
mystery novels. She has written commentary for Thomas Nelson’s Spirit-Filled

individuals including Josh McDowell. Kathi has won many awards, including

Great Resource This was exactly what I was looking for in order to assist me with a message for mother's day. It was educational and informative around motherhood today and years gone by. I would highly recomend this as a read for all mothers ! May 17, 2011

This book by Kathi Macias should be on every mom's bookshelf. Christians who have grown up in church will become reaquainted with mothers of the Bible and see, through Kathi's insightful teaching, what their lives show us today. But even those who are not familiar with these characters already (Eve, Sarah, Leah, Rebecca, Mary, Eunice, Lois, etc.) will gain just as much from the book since Kathi's storytelling makes the lessons clear to all, no matter the level of biblical background. Mothers of today from all walks of life learn from mothers of the Bible on subjects like comparing children, generosity, persevering in prayer, faithfulness, forgiveness, generosity, playing favorites, and sacrifice. I know I will be a better mom for having read this book. March 17, 2010

Kathi Macias has writtena book about the Mothers of the Bible to Mothers today. She is a great person and always write some great books. This one would be a great gift to all the Mothers you have on your Christmas list. The tile speaks for its self. So make someone happy that love to read and add this to your shopping list.
