Author Bio

CAROLE LEWIS is the national director of First Place 4 Health, the Christ-centered health and weightloss program. A warm, transparent and humorous communicator, Carole is a popular speaker at workshops, seminars and conferences around the country. She is also the author of several popular books, including Stop It! and Give God a Year, Change Your Life Forever. Carole and her husband, Johnny, have three adult children (one deceased), eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
 
CARA SYMANK is currently a student at Texas A&M University. On Thanksgiving 2001, Cara's mother, Shari, was killed by a drunk driver while standing outside her in-laws' home. Through journal entries following her mother's death, Cara's previously unknown gift for writing has emerged. Her poignant and heartfelt words will touch all who read them. Cara is the granddaughter of Carole Lewis, her co-laborer on this book.
