Product Description

This classic by a Master Apologist is still consistently one of the top titles in apologetics! For over 25 years McDowell has been giving readers thought-provoking insights into the events surrounding Christ's life and asking whether they could all be explained by coincidence. Asking the hard questions about the reliability of biblical records, psychological profiles of disciples and apostles (would they die for a lie if the stories are not true?) and whether or not Jesus can be considered simply a good man who spoke some wise words, the author shows the light of truth while not overwhelming the reader with too much text. Designed as a missions and evangelism tool, this book has a proven track record!

Loved the Book! Very easy reading. I ordered 15 books for my Sunday School class, we are going through the book right now. They all love it!

Shortly after reading this book, my husband and I received Jesus as our LORD and Savior. God used it to break through some barriers we had erected to the gospel.

McDowell does an amazing job outlining the evidence supporting the validity of the Bible as a accurate historical document and outlining the evidence supporting Jesus Christ in fact being who he says he was, which was the Messiah, Son of God, and God in the flesh. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

After the Bible, this is just about the best book I have ever read. Not only does he give incredible evidence for the accuracy and truth of the Bible, but there are so many references if one should desire to do more research on their own. A great evangelism tool to reach those people who just can not find it intellectually sound to believe in Jesus.

This book is easy to read and the arguments are thought provoking and convincing. The illustrations alone are intriguing. Give it a solid five (5).

This book is a masterpiece of logic. Its concise, but thorough arguments and skillful diffusion of common misconceptions make it a valuable tool for believers around the world. A necessity for any Christian going into hostile situations (i.e. college). A wonderful, quick, easy read. If you have not read it (Christians and non-Christians) you should.
