Moody is a great Christian resource!
If you are considereing these timely classics from the Moody Science Institute, wait no longer and just buy the whole set. From children to adults, this set has something for everyone. While you may find some better than others, they are all worth watching time and time again. We incorporate these for our home worship service (along with various other like information) and our children never lose their enjoyment in watching them. They are a bargain in spiritual information!

Not for us
I almost bought the entire Moody series before viewing it because I know Moody is a trusted source for factual information when it comes to science and these videos are very celebrated in the HS circuit. After viewing this video I was glad that I hadn't. This series was done in the 60's or 70's and would benefit from an update. So much changes in the scientific world so quickly and although what is presented still seems accurate the pace of the presentation is slooooow and archaic. It also has a very scripted feel and the gentleman sounds very much like Billy Graham. We could sit through it sure, but if there is something more interesting out there that is current we would gladly forgo this series. I know some people absolutely love it but it was just not for us.

I think this DVDs are just great, they realy teach you a lot, thank GOD for the people who made them.

When we first started this video, I was worried. I immediately looked at the case and saw that it was made in the 40s (I believe). However, my 2 boys ages 9 and 6 loved it and rewound the part about the caterpillars turning into a chrysalis (in real time) so they could watch it over and over. I have since let a friend borrow it so her little girl could see the caterpillar part. Truly amazing!
