Todays mom is faced with the task of helping her 8-to-12-year-old daughter grow up in a society that compels her little girl to grow up too fast. Moms Ultimate Guide to the Tween Girl Years gives mothers practical advice and spiritual inspiration that will enable them to see their mini-women into adolescence strong, confident, authentic, and God-centered, even in a morally challenged society without losing their childhoods before theyre ready.
Nancy Rue has written over 100 books for girls, is the editor of the Faithgirlz Bible, and is a popular speaker and radio guest with her expertise in tween and teen issues. She and husband, Jim, have raised a daughter of their own and now live in Tennessee.

I keep hearing scary stories about tween girls. My daughter just turned 9 and I wanted to be ready. So, I bought this and am so glad I did. I think I will be reading it many times over the next few years. Great, practical info and advice. All about balance for your daughter and YOU. I liked how much the author encourages Moms to inspect their own lives and attitudes first, to be able to relate and minister to our daughters.

This book is wonderful! I strongly recommend it to ALL moms and dads with girls. It is a true picture of what they are going thru and how to relate with them.
abbie5 Stars Out Of 5September 21, 2010abbieMoms Ultimate Guide to the Tween Girl World, Nancy RueIf you want a book that will make you appreciate the difficulties of your tween daughter as she navigates the treacherous waters of todays world this is the book for you. I found myself close to tears as I thought over the drama of my own tween years in comparison to the instability of todays world and the additional stress on girls to grow up so quickly. I thought my own tween years were difficult, however, in light of the topics that girls now face in this grossly sexualized world I believe we all need a dose of encouraging words to help our daughters become battle-ready mini-women of God. This book encourages you to spend time helping your daughter discover and develop a strong sense of her identity in Christ. This is sometimes difficult for the mom in the trenches of tween-ness as we battle back-talk, hormonal eruptions, and withdrawal of our precious little princess daughters. I really enjoyed the straight-forward manner of Nancy Rue as well as her humor and wit. I was unfamiliar with her until I received this book for review, but have quickly become a fan. Thank you Zonervan for this review copy.
Jennipher Nielsen2 Stars Out Of 5September 8, 2010Jennipher NielsenI just bought the ebook and am frustrated! I got the ebook so I could read bits of it when I have time and when my health allows it. I wanted to print the pages I could read, so the print would be larger and I could read while resting. It only let me print 10 pages. I just bought a book and now I can't read it. Bummer! I should've just ordered the hard copy.
