And it helped me explain my reasonings why we do not celebrate Halloween. But the quality of the book is rather cheap:( I was dissappointed in the black and white pictures. And it was quite lengthly to read to my young children.

It is a little hard for young children to understand all of it. They did understand the main idea which is that Halloween is a day that honors the devil. As Christians we are to have nothing to do with evil. This was also very informative for the older children.
MomOf2BoysTexasAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Exactly what I needed!October 17, 2011MomOf2BoysTexasAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Linda, Thank You from the bottom of my heart for writing this book. Our family does not celebrate Halloween, but it has been very difficult for me to explain why to my 4 year old son, especially since he sees it everywhere! I couldn't find the right way to explain it in a way he would understand. I read him this book and it was as if a light bulb turned on for him. He understood completely (the book goes into much more detail then I thought it would, but in a way that a young child can understand). And he has been telling me that he only wants to celebrate Jesus! I recommend this book to everyone.
