Awesome book. we do not part-take in halloween in any way, and our children who have been raised not to, are well with it but have had questions. Our ten year old daughter, after reading this book said, this totally confirms to me that it is not right for Christians to part- take in this event. Amen ti that.

This year my kids started asking questions that I couldn't answer to their satisfaction. This book has been a huge help. My 8 year old could read it to himself and had a lot more understanding. The pages aren't in color though. That's the only complaint the kids had.

Great book with good background explanations of the pagan traditions behind the real Halloween celebrations. It is a bit long, but I think it will help your children, approx. ages 4 and up, to understand your reasoning behind NOT celebrating this worldly holiday.

This book was easy to understand and got the message across in a way that gave enough information and the pictures were not too scary I let my kids color the book to ad color to it and they enjoyed that.

It does a good job of covering the basics; could even be used as an adult reference to touch on the main points people should be concerned about when it comes to Halloween.

Description of the book is very accurate. It is a very helpful book for christian parents to answer the question "Why don't we celebrate Halloween?"
I read it with my 6 year old son, and we both benefit from the book. We do not celebrate Halloween at home, or at church. And I know of the facts/origin of Halloween, but it's really nice to have the truth delivered in a way that young children can understand. What I also like is that the book talked about other holidays (Christmas and Easter) to help children understand that celebrating a holiday honors someone or something.

I really liked this book, but it is a little wordy for my younger kids. It definately explained the reasons why we have chose to not celebrate Halloween.

Excellent book! This book is very well written. It is easy enough for my 6 yr old to understand, yet straight forward, honest and accurately tells the history of Halloween. I could not have said it better myself when my daughter asked me "Mommy, Why Don't We Celebrate Halloween?" Thank You!
