The heartwarming sequel to The Secret from bestselling author Beverly Lewis. A painful absence, a desperate heart - is it too late to find Lettie Byler? Grace Byler longs to uncover the secret that drove her mother to leave the family weeks ago. When all hopes are dashed for such a search, an unlikely friendship leads to a surprising invitation. Meanwhile, the young Amish man Grace thought was courting her best friend takes a sudden interest in her, and Grace’s decision to remain single is challenged even as her determination to find her mother grows.

I love the way the book is read with different "voices". It really makes the story come alive. After listening to book one, I could hardly wait to listen to book two. Now I anxiously await book three.
Sherryl Potter3 Stars Out Of 5October 4, 2009Sherryl PotterI have read every Amish Series book that this author has written. Her series have always been favorites of mine. However this series has been a disappointment to me. Maybe if all 3 books were made into one book it would be better. I became very frustrated with the 1st book and was anxious to read the 2nd thinking that maybe more information would be there. However both books left me very disappointed and now I find that the next one is not due out for 7 months. I think by that time most of the readers will have lost interest. This series seems to have moved very slow with very little happening of interest. All of the other series that I have read have been great and I would have given all of them the highest rating. I am disappointed in this series. Maybe I will feel differently if and when I read the last one.
