Quick easy read, geared more at church leaders than every Christian and at times felt slightly "health & wealth" gospel. Some helpful biblical guidelines were given, but often more testimonial. November 25, 2011

Excellent book on fasting! It's hard to find good books on fasting for spiritual reasons. First, you can't find many books on the topic. Secondly, the majority of them just list the scriptures that show why we should fast, and then record the stories of persons throughout the Bible who fasted. I was not familiar with this author but because the book was so low priced, I ordered it. My husband & I are both thrilled with this find. The author goes much deeper on the subject of Bible fasting. As a person who has experienced fasting, not just read about it, he gives practical help to assist you in your pursuit of God, along with sharing wisdom to gain physical benefits too.
