A Disappointment I can deal with poor acting and a mediocre plot if there is a good Biblical lesson in the end. Although they read from the Bible twice it only amounted to a few minutes of the entire movie. I kept waiting for something more but was disappointed when it ended without much substance. interesting, entertaining (with some caution) The film was made by a local church, independently. The story line is a good mystery and keeps the interest. Good surprize ending. The main character learns not to judge too quickly. However, it is not to be taken as Biblical theology or doctrine. It is important to have some solid Bible teaching with those who view it, especially if they are not familiar with the specific story that the film refers to. Important to remember it is God (Jehovah- the Holy Spirit-and the Lord Jesus, One and the Same), who meets the need and many people in the Bible make idols of an object that He uses, putting Him in the backround (they worshipped Gideon's ephod, Moses' bronze snake pole, etc.). It's the sin nature's natural way. That said, they did a commendable job on a low budget, with good acting and production. And they do reference God's love and provision to the faithful. It was worth my $5.00 and I keep it in my dvd collection. : ) February 24, 2013

This DVD is a reminder that God gives miracles. This was a faith strenghtening message and reminder that God uses miracles for His purposes past and present to change lives for Him. I recommend it for those who are more interested in the message of the story rather than a lot of action. There was enough mystery to keep interest and a good surprise ending. February 4, 2012
