So many say "I'm a Christian," but how can they know God's really their father—and that heaven's home? The short book of 1 John was written for that purpose— that you might know that you really do have eternal life. This is a powerful, enlightening study that will take you out of the dark and open your understanding to this key biblical truth. Six 40-minute, easy to grasp lessons you can use personally or as part of a small group. No homework is required, so everyone in the group can work through the lesson together at the same time. The NASB is quoted.

I highly recommend Kay Arthur's Bible studies. The history and understanding of the scriptures one precept at a time is awe inspiring.
All the 40 minute studies are wonderful. Kay uses the Bible and the verses grow deeper in your heart as you more fully understand. It is not necessary that you have to highlight or color words, if that would stop you from doing study, just move forward and ignore those steps and God will enlighten you. However, noting the special words helps me to really get the word planted in my heart.
