We put this book on our TV stand in the Family Room. We read one of the devos and have some discussion on it. The conversation usually drifts into events from the day. It has been a great tool for getting our Middle School child to talk. All of this happens before the TV is turned on, which has been NICE!

My family uses this books at least 4 - 5 times per week, as we are finishing up dinner. We find it interesting, relevant, timely, challenging and uplifting. We have a family of 5 children, 2 boys and 3 girls ranging in age from 15 to 8 years of age. We are waiting for the next edition because we find we are rereading stories again and our children remember them! Please let us know if the author is working on a Book 2.

If you have a child whose eyes glaze over when you start to talk about Godly principles or if you are searching for ways to teach these principles while creating more rich bonding times, then this is the book for you! My 6th grade son looks forward to our daily time of reading and discussing the lessons from the stories together. The stories are entertaining, timely and very applicable. The lessons are presented in a non-condemning way that invites discussion and honesty. I love this book! It has been a great way to start the day and send him off to school. We may just have to start all over again and re-read it. Hope Ms. Fox will write a sequel or two.
