This was a very good movie for teens and adults. I lived through this time period but never knew about this school or team. Loved that they talked to the original people and showed original footage at the end of the movie. Also is great to hear that the school is still going.
I am a pretty strong sports fan, and so was drawn to this movie. I did enjoy the film, and felt that overall it was quite positive and inspiring, particularly inasmuch as it is a true story. I would have liked to see more basketball action, however, and perhaps more original footage.
I have a 5 yr old and a 7 yr old. We just watched Mighty Macs because it was G and they said - "it will be a cold day in Hell", had a scene where a nun and coach go into a bar-drink beer and talk inappropriately to a guy in the bar, and then the coach disguises herself as a nun to get a free ticket on a plane. If this is G I dont want to see a PG LOL
