Author Bio

EUGENE H. PETERSON is a writer poet and retired pastor. He has authored more than thirty-four books (not including The Message). He is Professor Emeritus of Spiritual Theology at Regent College in Vancouver British Columbia. Eugene also founded Christ Our King Presbyterian Church in Bel Air Maryland where he ministered for twenty-nine years. He lives with his wife Jan in Montana.

Great for young people! We purchased this copy of The Message and the blue/black edition for our granddaughters. They were baptized in water and this was our gift for them. They love them, and we're praying they will always want to read God's Word. January 15, 2013

Beautiful and Easy to Read I just love holding this Bible in my hands. The leather is so soft and I just don't want to put it down. Although The Message is the least accurate Bible on the market, it does give another perspective that is refreshing - even entertaining :) September 5, 2012
