    Tell us a little about yourself.  I'm a high school Latin teacher and have been teaching Latin for the last 14 years. I've taught junior high and high school in private, charter, Catholic and public school. I also play violin and hurdy-gurdy in a medieval music ensemble.

    What was your motivation behind this project?  I invented this game during my second year of teaching. Latin was mandatory at the private school where I worked and my students were not particularly interested in Latin. I spent a lot of time wracking my brains trying to figure out how to liven up my class. Kids were tired of writing out endless verb conjugations and all the standard "repeat after me" exercises I'd done. Driving home from a students' dance recital one day , I came up with this game to make verb conjugation more interesting and its become standard in my repetoire.

    Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  The inspiration for this game was all the card games my friends and I played at summer camp. We played a lot of cards in the cabin in the evening - it was cheap, fun and helped build friendships.
