Honor does not come naturally to men, especially in a culture where dishonor and rebellion are encouraged. This contributes to the downfall of many men, and the denigration of culture in general. All this affects other men, women and children adversely, and keeps humanity stuck in a slough of despond.
Mike Cleveland has been there, and without God's deliverance he would not be where he is today. In Men of Honor he encourages men to pursue honor, starting with a deep repentance and following through to everyday life and coloring everything in between. This is true Godly honor, not the superficial honor of the worldly system, and Cleveland focuses on both the subject and the reality of honor to radically affect men's lives.

This book is exactly what we were looking for, and exactly what our men needed. We put off getting this book because another pastor said it created a lot of "work" in their ministry. I now understand what he means. Lots of men confessed their sin and are working through issues, and are finding freedom. I will take this kind of "work" (ministry) any day! One suggestion is to make sure and give enough time to work through this material: suggested every Monday night for four weeks. In summary, I cannot recommend this material highly enough, it is the best out there, and it WILL affect the men of your church in a dramatic way!

This book will rock the world of your men's group. It will definitely stir the pot. We had our men's meetings with this as the curriculum and have never seen such an impact upon our men as this material has brought. Numerous confessions of sin, and asking for help. It has been 12 months now since we had the conference and to this date many of the men are still free from pornography and other bondage, just from using this curriculum. Needless to say, we highly recommend it!

Absolutely changed our entire men's group. Never has any book had such impact on our men. This is the best study our church men's group has done to date!

Big book, lots of content, it looks good but my mens group opted for another book to study since this one is more of a classroom focused book then small group discussion. we may do it in the future.
