Product Description

Imagine a crowded arena full of Christians, Muslims, and curious onlookers packed in to hear the outcome of one of the greatest debates in all of history. If Jesus didn't rise from the dead, Christianity is false. But if Jesus was resurrected, Christianity is true and Islam is false. The stakes are high.

Paul Meets Muhammad imagines a futuristic face-off between two religious heavyweights, each speaking on the validity of their doctrines, forming arguments and rebuttals while citing evidence from the Qur'an and the Gospel accounts. Intriguing and entertaining, this page-turner uniquely offers a comprehensive defense of Jesus's resurrection and of Christianity itself.

Publisher's Description

Imagine if the Apostle Paul were alive to defend the truth of Jesus's resurrection-only to be countered by none other than the prophet Muhammad himself.

In an approach as creative as any scholar has taken, Michael R. Licona describes an invention that can make historical figures appear alive and present. Imagining an audience of both Christians and Muslims, Licona crafts a lively debate between Paul and Muhammad, each speaking on and analyzing the validity of the Qur'an, the gospel accounts, and both Christian and Muslim doctrine.

Intriguing and entertaining, Paul Meets Muhammad uniquely offers evangelism advice for Christians who want to speak the gospel to Muslim friends and neighbors. This fictional scenario presents a powerful, comprehensive defense of Jesus's resurrection and of Christianity itself.

ChristianBookPReviews.com

Southern Baptist Convention director of Apologetics Evangelism, and author of The Case for the Resurrection, Michael Licona brings important research and abilities to this subject. His wide studies, debates, and preparations for teaching, as well as learning from Muslim friends and teachers, give this book the ring of authenticity. The introduction to Paul Meets Muhammad adds much information to this book. If, like me, you tend to skip introductions, don’t skip this one.

The story itself is engrossing. MIT scientists have perfected a computerized, holographic process for making educated guesses as to how those in the past would respond to modern problems. Knowing this works well, these doyens put on a debate where the holographic images are so good, that Paul and Muhammad pull in the live audience completely. This audience is made up of doubters, Christians, and Muslims. The debate between these two giants of history is carefully planned, thought out, and very real. The reader will join that captivated audience.

Other books which will interest Christian readers pursuing Muslim evangelism is Brother Andrew’s Light Force or its youth version Operation Desert Light. – Donna Eggett, Christian Book Previews.com
