Meet the Ponytail Girls, The Ponytail Girls Series #1
I really liked this book. There are puzzles and games, Bible stories, and you get a cool ponytail holder, too! The only thing I didn't like in it was the Halloween stuff, because I don't like Halloween.

Adventures, For Real!Few real life kids solve their problems waving magic wands, and being coached by gnarly wizards. The heroes amongst us use their heads, resourcefulness, and hearts in order to beat all odds. Bonnie Compton Hanson has, once again, shown us how kids become heroes - Everyday Heroes, in everyday Real Life situations. Not since the Life Application Student Bible has anything excited me more, as one who has worked with kids all my life, than The Ponytail Girls series. I'm challenge over and over by skeptics who ask "Is the Bible relevant?" I've finally got an entertaining, resounding YES to back me up!Girls ages 8 on up will adore these new friends; the Ponytail Girls are as real as you and I. In a world of youth fiction swathed in either despair or fantasy, FINALLY an author comes forth with an utterly refreshing approach to what and how our kids read. The Ponytail Girls put into practice, lively Biblical applications with solutions to situations common to all kids - and as they find out, as old as the Bible itself! Praiseworthy on all counts of style, reliability and accuracy in references, follow-up ideas and applications, FUN, and lasting impression, these books are a MUST in any daughter or granddaughter's collection. If your church is looking for a girls' club idea - this is it! If you're one who thinks the Bible's a bit dusty and out of sync these days, pick up The Ponytail Girls and meet some kids who'll delight you with their antics, friendships and resolve. Prepare to turn off your TV for awhile; your young reader will be busy learning to play the Real game of life, God's way. Mary Bevis
