Begins with the alphabet. Moves to simple one-syllable words such as
cat and fox, then on to more difficult one-syllable words such as horse and spring. Illustrated with the charming original drawings. Grades 1-2. 60 pages, hardcover.
I got these because my daughter-in-law wanted them for my grandson who is just turning 2 and already knows all his alphabet and the sounds the letters make. He'll be reading in no time. These are fantastic books to start kids out with.

I have been trying to find a book that would help to teach my son with autism to read. It has worked for my other to children as well and they have learning disabilities. I would highly recommend this book for the homeschool community because it starts basic and progresses with your child.
