The Mayberry Bible Study, DVD Leader Pack, Vol. 1 4.4 5 8 8

A fresh look at something so famaliar. I have finished the first segment on service. It is amazing how this show which I have watched over and over through the years has such Scriptural parables. The verses that are pointed out in the study are very good and relate to the point. The questions that are used in the study create great thinking, and personal reflection. In this section now we are reminded that our Lord and Savior came to "serve" not to be served. Serving others is a concept in my opinion in today's culture that is hard for some to grasp. I believe I might try this as a summer series. Right now I am using it in our adult Sunday school. I think this could be used with a variety of age ranges. April 3, 2013

We are using this in our Wednesday night Adult Bible study class. We had more discussion and participation from this series than anything else we have used. Have since ordered Vol. 2 and 3 and Mayberry Moments. October 5, 2012
