I love this special book "Mom Matters." This is an awesome book for mom or a gift for yourself. It features 150
humorous , joy, and special mimi-devotional. There is special scriptures to cover how a mom loves her child and what she will do for her child. A mom will try her best to do it all. A mom is there for her child before it comes into the world and when it takes it first steps. When they get hurt she is there to kiss away the hurt. Here is just a few of the devotions,
Mom Smother you in tenderness and kisses, Buys stuffed animals, Gives you your first Bible, Volunteer at school, Watch you sleep and pray for you. There is also an index in the back on the scriptures. This book is full of ways a Mom loves her child and things she will do. I love it and the way Anita Higman brings in scriptures, God, and prayer in "Mom Matters." This is a good gift for Mother's Day that is coming up. I love the size of it , you can carry it around with you. Be sure and pick you up a copy today, you will not be disappointed .
I was given a copy of this book from the author for my honest review and I have given it.

Mom Matters: 150 Ways Moms Make a Difference in Our Lives by Anita Higman, © 2012
Just in time for Mother's Day, a gift devotional filled with joy and humor ~ blanket tents, trips to the zoo, college care packages in those tightly tucked shoe boxes, Mom Matters has a Scripture index and memory jolting of younger days, and laced with prayer. Maybe you will want a copy for yourself, too, to remind you to thank Mom for just being there. Here are devotions 1 and 150 ~ you will enjoy reading the ones in-between them too!
1. Moms smother you in tenderness and kisses
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love.
--Romans 8:38 NLT
Moms are the best kissers in the world. They get lots of practice smooching on tummies, on toes, on cheeks, and on heads. And their kisses come with extra helpings of smiles, giggles, and cuddles. They are kisses that are bountiful, warm, and slobbery. They are sweeter than lollipops, warmer than blankies, and more bountiful than cheddar fish.
Thank You, God, for moms so full of compassion and tenderness, so full of the kind of sweet kisses that make us warm on the inside and loved all over.
150. Moms love it when you remember her special day!
She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.
It only comes once a year, so she's hoping you will remember her on Mother's Day. Maybe a card or flowers or sweets. Perhaps a hug or a scarf or a pretty picture that you draw. Or maybe—if you're all grown up and have a really good job—you can give her a trip to the spa!
Lord, help us always to treat our moms with affection and devotion and respect. And help us never to forget our moms on Mother's Day!
