Product Description

Canadian singer/songwriter Matt Brouwer named his first CD after a word he made up to describe what he was trying to capture in his songs. And although you won't find it listed in Webster's, Matt defines "imagerical" as "pertaining to the mysterious or the unknown, involving imagery." This collection of 10 contemporary pop tunes does that definition proud, with Matt using brilliant imagery and clear word pictures to explore the many mysteries of faith on songs like "Water," "New Beginning," and the title track. His modern sound and worshipful lyrics are a testament to this young artist's talent, but Matt simply describes himself as "just a guy with a lot of rough edges who has been incredibly affected by meeting with Jesus in worship." No wonder his music seems so down-to-earth!

This is an awesome CD! I usually like louder music, but I have to say, this one is worth having. A couple of his songs reminded me of Jars of Clay, because he uses a variety of instruments. The lyrics are very relevant to today's times, and I feel I can really worship with this music. Check it out!
