We ordered this program after using ABEKA for most of our homeschool. My daughter despised math and struggled with it. This program does have lots of review, but that's not a bad thing! I really like the fact that it is student driven and that it shows step by step solutions for each problem. This has been very helpful as my DD encounters new concepts. Also this program is presented in a simple easy to understand way, some read this as easy but I'm glad that my DD is not in tears about math and understands it! All in all this is well worth the money

We had used Bob Jones for 10 years and they switched their method, so we thought this would be a good substitute. It would be a good system if you start with this right away but it is a step down in math advancement compared to the Bob Jones math...my children felt like they were going backwards using these math systems so we went back to Bob Jones.

I am very excited this year because of this Math progam! We are on lesson 30 and there have been no tears, from me or my son:) The lessons are clearly taught and easy to understand. I wish I had known of this program years ago!

Look no further for any other math curriculum! I'm was ashamed to say it, but when my now 14 year old entered the seventh grade two years ago, he only tested at a 3rd grade level on the Standford Achievement Test the previous school year (end of 6th grade). I purposed to make math our top priority for that year, and started him out with MATH 7. The lectures were clear and straight forward and the explanations easy to understand. He enjoyed doing math. My son breezed through this curriculum with consistant scores of 90plus. MATH 7 completely caught him up to a 7th grade level. He went on to use the TT Pre-Algebra for 8th grade, and now entering 9th grade he's going right into Algebra 1. Teaching Textbooks has given me peace of mind and I'm no longer embarrassed!

Teaching Textbooks 7 is AWESOME!! After trying 2 other programs that were dry and boring we found this to be anything BUT that! My daughter absolutely loved it and we'll be buying Pre-Algebra for the upcoming school year, as well as 2 more levels for other children, and we plan to use this from here on out, we love it that much! Another great thing about it is you can use it over and over unlike some traditional textbooks and that's appreciated in a very large family like ours! We'll give nothing but praises for this curriculum!

"It's fun!" This is the review from my 10 year old son. Quite a change from the tears and constant "I'm just not good at math." He also says "I feel like I'm learning a bunch. It's exciting and I look forward to it every day."
Mom says: "I would pay double for a happy, tear free day of school. A huge burden has been lifted."

Teaching Textbooks is SUCH a wonderful program!! I can't say enough good about it. The only drawback is, of course, the price--but you can resell the CD-ROMs and get some of your investment back (to buy the next year's math!!)
