Matchmakers need not apply when a pair of faux relationships becomes true love. Millie has a mother who keeps setting her up on disastrous blind dates; David is being stalked by an amorous former patient. The solution? A fake romance where no one gets nagged, and no one gets hurt. Until they start to care. Violet hires a matchmaker so she’s sure to have a date for her little sister’s wedding. But her match just happens to be an old college classmate, one she didn’t like then and doesn’t like now. Maybe he’ll do. . .it’s just one night.

OOhh but it was a fun-fun read!! Kelly O'Brian does a phenomenal job of talking such a serious situation and putting it in a fun loving setting. I absolutely loved Eva and all the Aunts. their lively caramarade and even Eva's constant complaints --goodness they were so funny. Poor Millie has been on blind dates with practically every single man in town and now it's the turn of widowed Dentist- David. even when she tries to put a foot down and not go her mother Eva is adamant and sets out to go instead. so Millie is left again with no choice but to go. David on the other hand has agreed to this date hoping to escape Shelly - the hot bimbo who has been stalking him with the help of his own mother. after this disastrous date and a case of some hard caramels, Millie is unexpectently is in David's office and now they meet again only on this meeting it's not only the cavity they fix up. they fix a plan to get rid of matchmaking mothers and stalking girlfriends-- fake dating also known as undating.
poor them. it is quite a journey for them both, only instead of being shy and fearful of the other's opinion their relationship- that has a definite break up scheduled on March 15, is filled with openness and laughter where they are not afraid to be themselves.
dear reader, you need a reason to smile- get this book, it will definitely raise your spirits.
second book even though wasn't as fun, was just as interesting. one main, no two main lessons in this book and one of them I already started teaching my 13-year-oldniece to apply in life and it is - Do Not Copy the guy you like or people you want to befriend, be yourself - because you have been fearfully and wonderfully made.
And second- Do Not Hold secrets- because it gives the other person a chance to guess and believe me and this story - they WILL guess the worst.
Great stories. Practical and fundamental advises, and a clean entertainment you don't find in all books.
Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book from a publisher, through netgalley, in exchange for my honest opinion.
